How about the time when one pay TV company (Sky, owned by News Corp at the time) was said to have hacked a rival and released the hack on the internet for pirates to use?
Another long-term Vuescan user here. From memory it was the Mac OS 9 to Mac OS X transition and lack of vendor support for the new OS that caused me to seek it out. The only thing I would love for them to add would be a way for the app to self-update.
Not blocked here on 3. You’re right in that the networks often have the “adult content” filter (porn, gambling etc.) turned on, but you should be able to turn it off pretty easily. I suspect it’s that filtering that’s blocking archive.org for you
This is close. There was something that introduced Aqua to the world and played up the combo of PDF and OpenGL... Probably also explained in some WWDC 2001-ish video.
