In xfce, setting DPI in Appearance works perfectly (in my experience). Just don't try to scale with display settings...

Eagle does not do cursor warping as far as I know.

That is the first thing I turn off in Kicad (earlier versions I had to fix the source and recompile).

I have never seen a good reason for cursor warping.

The one you just read?

I mean that doesn't make any sense, but okay.

He probably previously mentioned that he wanted to write an article to the friend and the friend asked about it, reminding him.

> I hardly feel anything when I take it.

Would that not make it a very effective pain killer? /s

But seriously - you are not supposed to "feel" a drug. Opiates work on a much different mechanism, and you do "feel" them, but that is also the same mechanism that make them so addictive. What you want is a drug that helps you manage pain and not be addictive.

Code-hopping remotes have existed for a very long time, and I am really surprised that it's not the case here. I have had cars that were made in the 90's that used keeloq, a technology from the mid 80's.

In fact, all of my door openers and car remotes have some form of code-hopping and it's certainly not because they were specifically chosen for that aspect.

Sure, there are attacks for code-hopping systems as well, but it's a completely different league.

By code hopping do you mean rolling code based remotes?

I think what can sometimes be done with these is that one can record one or two codes and then desync the original remote. But I agree, it's a different league.

Are you referring to the "Forbes fraudy under forty" list?

Updating firmware is like buying new underwear - I do it only when the old ones stop working (or have visible holes).

Can you elaborate on what objections you have to Librewolf and why IceCat is better?

This. There is seemingly no incentive for manufacturers to make it harder to steal their cars - every stolen car is likely a new sale.
