What would experts here recommend for simulating 5ghz and 10ghz USB 3 on a particular gerber file and layup?
I've been avoiding it and spinning boards making small changes hoping for the best but still having issues. And don't have the resources to buy a scope capable of doing an eye diagram at 10ghz
Also bonus question.. How good are the simulations? Am I likely to be able to iterate on my layout and improve the eye diagram and order boards which have a good chance of working?
I'm vegan on the whole but I still use a splash of fish sauce from time to time. Good stuff, and largely made from parts of fish which would otherwise go to waste
Given that it's simple for anyone to setup a powerful radio to spoof ATC, and it probably would be too hard to sabotage the real ATC radio, I'm surprised planes haven't been hijacked like this before, but without the use of official ATC.
Surprisingly the answer is most often no, however in poor signal areas like in a city or under canopy the answer is yes as you are more likely to get a signal from the remaining bits of sky view.
The other benefit is when doing PPP the convergence time is dramatically shorter with multi constellation.
When doing RTK most receivers will use only GPS, as it is generally the most accurate, but it can and will use GLONASS occasionally. I have never seen one use beidu or Galileo
I would love to make an arm board. Would be cool if you could publish some sort of reference design EDA files with just the board outline and IO connectors populated.
Fully agree, automatic mechanical watch movements are truly a marvel of engineering. The fact that the movement is powered purely by the kinetic forces naturally applied from wearing it, and can reasonably accurately keep time over years, under a wide range of conditions… is truly impressive.
Over the years I've needed high end gear in a hurry mostly for emergency work after hurricanes or wildfires. I have dealt with all the rental houses in the US and the one the author of this article founded is hands down the best (lens rentals., on) .
Its interesting how much effect the founder can have on a business even after its grown large. You can tell if the company exists primarily to fulfill a mission or just as a money making exersize.
Spatial resolutions higher than 50cm has been a thing for civilian earth observation companies for a couple of decades. There are civilian companies who even provide products with a 25 cm spatial resolution for about a decade now.
In fact, currently there is a significant research focus on coregistering products from UAVs and satellite in good part because the differences in spatial resolutions from cheap low-flying drones and satellite imagery haven't been that different, so it's now possible to get reliable feature matches.
