Me and my partner recently (1 month ago) got our green cards via my employer.
My partner had previously started green card process through their work as well which is currently in PERM phase.
Is there any value in continuing my partner's green card process through their work?
Is it at all common that EB green cards are rescinded? I have no reason to suspect this, I am just being extra careful.
I'd highly recommend reading Atomic Habits. One of the key concepts in the book regarding changing habits is developing or changing how you identify yourself. From your post, it appears you like starting things. More details from authors blog here:
For me, I started diligently tracking what new interests I develop. Before I picked up a new topic of research or area of interest, I would put it in a note and evaluate if this would take me closer or further from my overall goal. I stopped spending too much time on a new interest if it did not align with my overall goal. "If you can't measure it, you can't improve it." It is really important to be self-aware of this trend, and you have shown that you want to improve.
That’s a very limited view of the world and leans more towards isolationism as opposed to internationalism. Isn’t it true that the US economy and consumers have benefited greatly from:
1. cheaper Chinese manufacturing at the expense of China polluting its rivers?
2. capital pouring in from all over the world in US financial markets (sovereign wealth funds, pension funds etc)?
3. migrants and their children coming to America and starting businesses?
The global economy is forever changing. At one time, India’s GDP as a fraction of the global GDP was at 24+%. United States, and the whole world, has benefited tremendously when smart and motivated people devoted their lives in creating businesses, advancing science and technology. The key in strengthening this status quo lies in recognizing, accepting and nourishing this talent. The price paid in return, handful of malice enterprises gaming the visa, is fraction of the overall net gain.
Retail investors having little to no knowledge of Crypto, let alone having any position around Litecoin. A friend of friend invested around $15K in LiteCoin on purely speculation. This is not even in the US.
I have been asked my a few friends and family members about investing similar amounts in Crypto, not knowing much about it.
People want piece of the action. The return period is small, LiteCoin up 90% just in the last 24 hrs, up 10000% in the last year. These are bonkers results if you just want to play the market and cash out.
This is not very scientific, but it has worked for me. I have curated this list of YouTube videos some of which have helped me and some of my friends a lot in the last year. I watch 1-2 of these in the gym when I am doing my cardio (elliptical or treadmill) three times a week towards the end of my workout.

I am a very distracted person, and need constant reminders. I have designed my life in such a way to be constantly reminded of my priorities. Once, I decide I need to include an activity in my life (be it learning, workout, eating healthy), I set up a time and corresponding reminders/ alerts. This sort of planning and tracking helps tremendously stay focussed on only things that matter.
This is interesting because I think this is my problem as well. I've tried TODO lists, writing things on paper, but I eventually forget about them. Do you use todo lists? Do you write everything down in paper?
What are these rules that you refer to? I know a lot of people who could benefit from such rules having come to the United States legally and spending 10 years and has to leave because their visas were expiring.
