Ultrasound researcher here: this work is almost certainly not full wave inversion. You're right that FWI can be done in this kind of setup. Notably, a lot of people are trying to use circular arrays of ultrasound sensors to do FWI, particularly in the brain or the breast. But, it's a challenging inverse problem to solve and as far as I know, it's still extremely slow - nowhere near realtime.
The data they show is almost certainly a normal beamforming algorithm like delay and sum, possibly with some simple speed of sound correction. The most similar paper I know of is here in Nature Biomedical Engineering from a team at Caltech. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41551-026-01660-4
Not sure if a VirtualJoystick is really needed as part of the engine, this could just be on the asset store. I feel like it incentivizes cookie cutter games with no uniqueness.
But maybe I'm reading too much into providing a basic input like a mouse cursor? Then again, how many games use the native cursor as is?
That's analogous to how frontal lobotomies were justified as a medical procedure. But it still caused significant, lifelong harm to tens of thousands of people, most of them children and young women.
This is an interesting approach. I like the idea of describing a strategy in natural language instead of wiring everything together manually. How do you handle ambiguity when a prompt could be interpreted in multiple ways?
Universal Message Manager (UMM) is a publish and subscribe messaging system designed to link applications with a self-describing message format. Originally designed for industrial control systems, it has numerous applications including as for teaching programming and systems design. The system is written in Python and C but plug-in agent can be written inane language. Try it out and play with it to discover its real potential.
I had a very similar setup. Really happy with the xarm 6 lite. I played around with the diffusion policy paper experiments and was thinking to buy a webcam as a top camera as well but I ended up buying two intel realsense ones because of the timestamp drift issues. How did you solve that? Or is camera feed syncing not necessary for your intended projects?
It's cool. At first, I wasn't used to the controls, so I had a hard time with the preview, but once I got the hang of it, it's really convenient.
Is there a chrome version?
Here "Vibe-coded software is simply not good." is not also correct 100% why?
If all you saw means that's all there is then that itself is incorrect, why? People are building better solutions and you just havent seen them yet.
I know so because I am building one, you didn't know about it, if you are interested in seeing a sample of what it produces, the architecture etc, though not perfect but it should cause you to rethink because some of us are building the solutions to the problem you saw, you just didn't know it yet.
It's who has funding support around them that you hear of and see often.
238GB is the 4-bit quantized version, with an accuracy loss of about one tier compared to the original. For running complex logical reasoning, it's still recommended to use the original version~
Lmao at the absolute ego behind that wording
>Gonna need you to expend on that
Sure boss everyone here is just waiting for your commands to meet your every need
I’m not sure about the law protecting them or not, but it’s deeply hypocritical from their part.
It’s just people used to virtue signaling that aren’t willing to pay any price, no matter how small, for what they defend. They really think they are up to something when all they do is speak and “look good”.
If they think their company is doing something really problematic, then resign.
Please, this is the dutch government, who believes or trust them still? The price will be raised to 200 euro and they will make it sound like it's a good thing for you. There is this weird propoganda thing about the netherlands, where it looks like this amazing utopia from the outside, but, it's far from it. Look at the housing crisis, the immigration crisis, the incredibly stupid tax on unrealized gains, the cost of living, and the list just continues.
I agree but to me it seems humanity has a terminal case of being unable to separate content from presentation. I can see it in this thread with clamoring for Typst in READMEs etc. If READMEs need to be anything they need to be plain bloody text. Markdown is the absolute maximum. Having some “header semantics” defined is fine as that’s universal in a document but let’s keep it simple guys, OK?
Information needs to be plain and clear. Presentation can be fancy. Let’s keep these very, very different things separate. AI will thank you as well.
