You might like Patrick O'Hearn.

At first I thought it was about this.

I think this is an excellent point. Let's say they had NOT done that (and thank goodness they did) - would the current defenders of tarrifs see this as a path to wealth between states too? Me thinks they would. But they why stop there. Why not impose such tarrifs between cities. And if that enriches cities - neighbors should get in on the action too, no?

There is a modern Bastiat style essay waiting to be written here.

I recall sending a letter to them asking them for information on how they compressed their images for their hi-res adventure games. While they replied, they said it was a trade secret. I was kind of bummed. But being a 12 year old kid who barely understood the 6502, it probably would have gone over my head.

I really would like some official casio faces on my apple watch.

I see it as a great starting point.

I agree that it's a great starting point

If you enjoy that one - you might also enjoy

The lengths the Cook Islands have to go to prevent folks from registering profanity is entertaining (there was a spate of .co.ck novelty names before they locked it down)

“Check out my website yeah, trashbat dot cock, registered in the Cook Islands”

Nathan Barley is a great watch. It also has one of my favourite terms for a mobile phone “hand held twit machine” (pre smartphones)

That domain looks very interesting in the address bar of a mobile browser which hides the www prefix.

At the very least, bazel would devour the cmake responsibilities in this case. That's not intended as a criticism of either. Just a description of bazel. It can feel very Star Trek Borg like.

The challenge is I'd have to convert our whole system to bazel. That's a bit of a hard sell when I don't know how easy it is.

Consider a broader range of news sources in your daily diet.

This headline is kind of dumb. Yes, there is yet another new venue. But other recent "new" venues include MIAX, IEX, MEMX, and soon to be active - 24X. Oh and let's not forget the Long Term Stock Exchange (LTSE).
