Some of the customer's money is already crypto though

Gotta start somewhere

For startups in general yes, for aggregating millions of user funds you need a better plan straight off the bat

This is crowdfunding, it’s not that crazy at all. It’s early stages

Exactly! The most important thing is to start.

Wait, you're telling me I can get clean teeth AND free booze

would this also work for my video consisting of 10,000 PDFs?

I can't tell if this is a meme or not.

And if someone had this idea and pitched it to Claude (the model this project was vibe coded with) it would be like "what a great idea!"

Geez, that repo[0] has 8k stars on Github?

Are people just staring it for meme value or something? Is this a scam?

if you quit your day job your team will be lost without you

They can come with me if they want. Otherwise whatever.

YouTube is removing videos and moving to Shorts-only in a couple months, so this shouldn't be an issue for long

YouTube should just show ads, that's what makes money anyway right?

Cable TV figured this out a long time ago.

What does this mean? Does this mean that there will be no more video UI (only the shorts UI)? Does this mean that only shorts will show up on the homepage? etc. (Also a source would be nice.)

I think OP is being sarcastic, throwing a hint to how popular TikTok (and thus short videos) are over long form content

Parent comment needs a /s.

Does it though? It's blatantly obvious sarcasm

The most placebo button I've ever seen is that "Don't show Shorts" where it says something like "We'll show you less Shorts" and then they reappear 30 minutes later

I guess every content platform is moving to forcefully shoving slop into your face now

OK finally something to cute my addiction.

we know how Google makes money

Give it a few months and it will ignore all your questions and just ask if you’ve watched Rampart.

To be fair, Google do have a cost advantage here as they've built their own hardware.

everything is agentic now

they're certainly working on it in this comments section

This arbitrage is even more profitable if you only buy the lucky numbers.
