It would have to shift to US/? LNG and get what they can and the price would go up. I hear they are planning to see if their closed nuclear can be restarted and possibly new one built. It was just nuclear hysteria that made them close - now they see the teeth of the bear, they may change their minds about feeding him


Germany would have to retrofit a lot of their seaports to be able to unload LNG from ships which would also take years to complete

Nuclear takes too much time so odds are they'll have to ramp up more coal plants to meet demand


There are gas/oil pipelines in many port countries that connect to Germany to bridge the gap until they build their own. https://www.euractiv.com/section/energy/news/germany-signs-f...
