Apple always goes all-in on something like this, so while they'll continue to make Intel Macs for a while, and support them for (my wild guess) 5 years, they're definitely going 100% to ARM.
Every other major hardware company plays it safe by supporting as much of their user base as they possibly can with a wide variety of configurations. Apple doesn't.
